The Daily Grind & Baltimore
I started my new summer job last week and my life has been crazy ever since. Lucas and I are teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) to girls age 11-17. I really enjoy the kids and teaching English is much easier than teaching Spanish, but it is still fairly challenging to try and plan for the classes. Anyway, I think I'm beginning to get the hang of it now.
I've been meaning to show some photos of our trip to Baltimore a few weeks ago.
I managed to eat a lot of food, especially ice cream. This is Pitango's gelato and it was AMAZING.
Moxley's ice cream...also fantastic! Have you noticed I have a thing for ice cream?
Greek tapas at a restaurant called Mezze.
Dinner at a rotating sushi bar
Paddle boats at the Inner Harbor
Mysterious-looking butterflies around Towson, where we stayed.
Baltimore definitely felt like a nice vacation! Our hotel was great, I got to drive around and see the city and even crocheted during open knitting with some nice ladies at a nearby yarn shop, Black Sheep Yarn Shop.
