I've been long absent from this poor blog! I'm busy crafting and teaching and then when I'm done, I usually don't feel motivated to post; however, lately I've felt the blog calling me back to it again.
I finished all of the blocks for my Not Your Ordinary Block Exchange on Ravelry and sent the last six blocks out last week. Most of my crafting time and energy over the last couple of months has been devoted to this and it feels like an accomplishment and a huge relief to be finished.
Now I'm finishing up a few gifts and then it's back to regular crafting. I really enjoy making things for others, but I confess that I'm looking forward to working on some projects for myself again.

I know exactly what you mean. I am making 2009 an exchange free year to allow me time to catch up with my own long neglected projects.
