Knitting to Christmas

Hello! The holidays are quickly approaching and I've been trying to keep up! I've been slowly working my way through this scarf since March and finally finished it.

Shifting Waters Scarf

Pattern: Shifting Sands Scarf
Yarn: Berroco Comfort, Aegean Sea
Needle: Size 8

For non-natural fibers, Berroco Comfort is a pretty awesome yarn. Great stitch definition, nice colors, soft to the touch.

This project makes its appearance yet again, after having knit two pairs last year as gifts. I just can't not love it. I decided to see what it was like to knit with a bamboo yarn blend. I thought it was okay but I prefer it in 100% wool.

Irish Hiking Handwarmers 3

Pattern: Irish Hiking Wristwarmers modified to knit in the round per knitterinthekitchen's instructions
Yarn: Bamboo Ewe
Needles: size 8

I am in love with Crystal Palace's Mini Mochi yarn. It's a soft and beautiful merino wool/nylon blend. I've been crocheting a granny square shawl out of it in a different colorway and had one ball in Jungle that I had to make into something awesome, hence this cowl. Incidentally, CPY is having a knit along of this very cowl in their Raverly group and there's still time to join in!

Topsy Turvy Cowl Completed!

Pattern: Topsy Turvy Cowl
Yarn: Crystal Palace Mini Mochi, Jungle
Needles: size 7

Have you started making Christmas gifts yet? What's on your list?

All beautiful pieces. I had not seen the cowl or armwarmers before. Thanks for sharing them! Your scarf is beautiful! The only thing I've accomplished so far is a shawl, which I'm not sure is big enough :( I am working on a pair of socks for my mom, and have a long mental list so who knows!
