Getting Stuff Done!

Jelly Roll Race quilted and shipped to one of my nieces who just graduated high school. Quilted with variegated thread 1/4 inch from seams.

  Crochet fingerless gloves for a class I am going to teach next spring.   

Are you impressed with how ahead of schedule I am right now? I am!

Pattern, Flora, from Linda Permann and it was awesome, I have to say.  The yarn was, too (Madelintosh Tosh Merino Light in Posy).

I am finishing up another block from my tile quilt--then only two blocks to go!  Doing the applique by hand is taking me about a week per block, so I hope to have all blocks done by the end of the month.

I always enjoy reading Jeni B's list at the end of her posts, for example, here.  I thought I would try something similar.

Good things of late:

• I haven't made fajitas in years--at least since I moved to PA about 7 years ago--I finally made them again tonight.  They were Am-a-zing!
• Making really good progress on craft projects.  I love summer.
• Tomorrow, weather permitting, I am going to look at art outside and eat ice cream.
