Christmas Tree Skirt is Finished

I am proud to say that I finished my tree skirt last night! After some fumbling with the blindstitch, I finally figured it out and attached the blessedly short section of the sash to the top of the skirt. I think I am starting to understand why people make quilts and then do everything but bind them--they can't bring themselves to blindstitch a whole quilt all the way around. Still, after doing all that work, it's a shame to let your quilt sit somewhere for years until your guilt or inspiration rescue it from oblivion.
